The World Association of Girl Guides and Girl Scouts (WAGGGS) was established in 1948.
The Charm on this bracelet shows the symbol that has signified this organization since then
.
All Girl Scouts and All Girl Guides all over the world wear the pin with this symbol.
(Although is has been
modernized
since this design.)
This charm is
a nice size, measuring approximately 1 inch in diameter.
This bracelet first shows in a Girl Scout catalog in 1950 and was discontinued in 1953.  It says, "... gold and blue enamel disk, ... imitation snake chain, electro gold plated."
As a result, the chain is still like new.
This is a wonderful SEVENTY-YEAR-OLD treasure and certainly GIFT QUALITY.
