Roman Ancient Glass Fragment Beads, Turquoise ~Enlarged to show detail~ ~Not a finished necklace~ This is one 23" strand of authentic ancient Roman glass beads from the Middle East. (Not a finished necklace) These are scarce and very desirable glass beads, made from glass dating back to circa A.D. 400 to 700. Enlarged to show details These ancient small early glass beads are made from fragments of broken bowls, vessels, etc. excavated in the Middle East, aged over two thousand years. They have been re-worked into these beads. Pendant measures 2" long, has 2 holes drilled top and bottom. Colors are green, yellow and brown, brick with ancient designs, some tubes with dots. The beads have varying thickness, irregularities, & age encrustations given their age and travels. Strung with Peruvian turquoise heishi beads, and Roman glass rondell beads!
