5pc Antique Art Deco 1900-1925 Hirsch Sterling Silver Octagonal Tea Coffee Set

Presented is an impressive 5 piece sterling silver tea set. This tea set is by M. Fred Hirsch & Co of New Jersey, and dates to the first quarter of the 1900s. The tea set is done in a classical octagonal paneled form, stately and elegant in style. The pieces are all polished to a bright finish. All the pieces are spotless on the interior, clean and ready for use.
The set consists of:
1 Teapot--Measures about 10 inches from spout to handle, stands about 9 1/8 inches tall. Capacity of about 4 1/2 cups (36 fluid ounces/1.1 liters)
1 Coffee pot--Stands about 10 5/8 inches tall. Capacity of about 6 1/2 cups (52 fluid ounces/1.5 liters)
1 Sugar bowl--Stands about 6 1/2 inches tall with the lid. Measures about 6 1/4 inches from handle to handle.
1 Creamer--Stands about 5 5/8 inches tall.
1 Waste bowl--Stands about 4 1/4 inches tall.
Each piece is stamped on the underside with the maker's mark for Hirsch as well as sterling and the number 409.
This set is in excellent overall condition, especially for its age. There is a small ding to the front of the creamer, but no other flaws. There are no splits, no leaks, no major dents, no monograms, no monogram removals, and no repairs.
The total weight  for the set is 2023 grams or 71.4 regular ounces.
